The Evangelical Foundation Alsterdorf provides a permanently available counseling program in Hamburg that supports people with disabilities, psychosocial challenges, or special life situations. The focus is on individual needs and life plans: whether in questions regarding assistance and participation, career orientation, or psychosocial support – the Alsterdorf Counseling Center brings together a variety of specialized services, including psychology, intensive pedagogy, and psychiatric-psychotherapeutic outpatient care. The goal is to strengthen self-determination and enable equitable participation in social life. The counseling is offered as a Other Funding Type and is aimed at private individuals residing in Hamburg who seek support in the areas of health, social affairs, children and youth, as well as work & social matters.

Participants benefit from a low-threshold access without fixed deadlines: applications can be submitted at any time. In addition to general life and social counseling, the Evangelical Foundation Alsterdorf also offers specialized services, for example, career counseling for people with disabilities or independent participation guides in the model project "Living as I Want." This holistic approach combines professional expertise and perspective development with the strengthening of personal resources. In this way, the foundation promotes sustainable solutions for shaping self-determined life paths and supports equal participation of all involved in the Hanseatic city.
