Description

With the “Vocational Integration according to Bgld ChG” program, the state of Burgenland aims to enable people with disabilities to participate in the labor market in a self-determined and equal manner. Eligible are privately living individuals with their main residence in Burgenland who are Austrian citizens, asylum beneficiaries, or have been legally residing in the country for at least five years. Applications can be submitted continuously from October 1, 2024. The grant supports career orientation and preparation, qualification and training measures, initial, retraining and further training, as well as supervision in companies or workshops. Additionally, workplace trials are funded and subsidies for disability-appropriate adaptation of private vehicles are granted to ensure mobility and accessibility of the workplace.

Funding is provided for people with disabilities living in Burgenland who are either Austrian citizens, asylum beneficiaries, or have been legally residing in the country for at least five years. Support includes costs for career orientation and preparation, qualification and (re)training measures, supervision in companies, workplace trials, and subsidies for adapting private vehicles. The measure is generally designed for eight months but can be extended if a need is demonstrated. The application must include a current clinical-psychological report or a (specialist) medical assessment, as well as – in the case of partial qualification apprenticeships – a cost estimate. This offer combines structured support and financial security to enable sustainable and self-determined integration into the open labor market. The program encourages active shaping of one’s professional future and supports the full development of individual potential.
