Description
The assisted living facilities of the Erich Schumm Foundation in Murrhardt (Haus Elisabeth and Haus Lili) are aimed at seniors aged 60 and over who wish to live independently in age-appropriate housing and access modular services as needed. The residential complexes offer 1- and 2-room apartments with fitted kitchens, balconies or terraces, and barrier-free bathrooms. The offering is complemented by a secure emergency call system, telephone and antenna connections, as well as access to communal facilities such as the senior club, Schumm café, dining hall, library, and garden area. The modular service packages are divided into basic services (building technology, winter services, caretaker services), emergency call organization (24-hour availability, technical maintenance), and care services (appointment-based support, crisis intervention, application and social assistance support). Optional services (e.g., cleaning, meal provision, hairdressing, foot care, nursing assistance) can be commissioned additionally.
Funding is provided as a monthly subsidy of up to €640 for rent (excluding additional costs) and flat-rate basic service fees; advance payments for heating, water, and operating costs are also eligible. A security deposit is not eligible for funding. Registration is possible at any time; applications must include the completed registration form, the rental agreement, and the current price list. Price lists, rental agreements, and registration forms can be downloaded as PDFs. The program promotes the participation of older people by combining individually accessible service modules with a secure living environment, thus enabling an independent life within a community and with professional support.
