Description

The Carl-Theodor-Welcker-Stiftung e.V. in Baden-Württemberg continuously provides individual assistance services and structured support groups for persons with psychiatric disorders and forensic backgrounds. Within the framework of integration assistance (SGB IX) and aid in special social difficulties (SGB XII), psychosocial counseling, day structure, occupational therapy, as well as specialized housing forms are offered. The goal is to promote social and vocational rehabilitation as well as sustainable participation in social life. Participants benefit from a holistic concept that combines medical, therapeutic, and practical life aspects and supports the return to self-determined everyday structures.

For admission, interested individuals must have developed their own goals following completed psychiatric treatment, be able to independently manage practical life requirements, and be capable of making binding agreements with staff. Excluded are acutely psychotic persons, those with drug or alcohol addiction, as well as individuals with primary care needs or acute self- and external endangerment. The multi-stage admission process includes initial contact, submission of relevant documents (court rulings, expert reports, medical letters), home visits, trial residence, case supervision, and timely application for appropriate support measures. Continuous admission is possible as long as the funding guidelines’ requirements are met. Thus, the foundation offers a reliable funding source for private applicants seeking sustainable reintegration into work and society.
