Description
Big Impact Initiative Award 2026 honors queer business networks nationwide that promote an open, inclusive working environment through creative actions and sustainable commitment. Since 2018, the PrOut@Work Foundation has annually recognized initiatives that, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression, advocate for social cohesion and equal opportunities. Eligible to participate are legal entities from the private and non-profit sectors, particularly business networks that implemented an independent action within or outside their organization in the previous year and thereby achieved visible impact. Evaluation criteria include the extent of the changes achieved, the innovativeness of the initiative, and the continuous commitment to queer diversity in the workplace.
Interested networks may submit an informal application by July 5, 2026. Required documents include a completed application form, a brief description of the network, as well as information on the action, objectives, and achieved impact – supplemented by optional document uploads (png, jpg, jpeg, pdf). The jury focuses on the depth of impact, creative implementation, and sustainability of the measures. This award provides recipients with public recognition, professional visibility, and a strong network of experts and funders in the field of Diversity & Inclusion. The award format strengthens awareness of a solidarity-based corporate and organizational culture and sends a clear signal for an equitable working world. An overview of all requirements and the official application form are available via the PrOut@Work Foundation’s application portal.
