Description
The Heinz Trox Foundation supports projects nationwide along the entire educational biography – from early childhood education through school and university initiatives to vocational training. Funded are projects that, under the guiding principle of “healthy and inclusive learning environments”, optimize learning conditions, increase motivation, and enable social participation. The focus also includes programs for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), which integrate environmental awareness and social responsibility into teaching. Examples range from school forest projects to extracurricular educational offerings and practice-oriented training formats that strengthen professional skills and future viability.
Eligible for funding are non-profit educational institutions, public sponsors, and non-profit organizations in Germany. Particularly eligible to apply are schools, daycare centers, universities, and training institutions that demonstrably aim to improve learning conditions and sustainably support educational processes. Applications can be submitted continuously and are based on a project-specific grant. A prerequisite is the presentation of the project, which creates the framework conditions for healthy and motivating learning. Additionally, the foundation promotes professional exchange between grant recipients and scientific partners to establish long-term effective structures.
