Brickwedde Sponsorship Award (Senator Eng. Albert Brickwedde Foundation)

The Senator Ing. Albert Brickwedde Foundation honors young people with the Brickwedde Sponsorship Award who have completed their dual training in wholesale and foreign trade or related commercial professions in Northern Germany with outstanding success. Eligible to participate are trainees and career starters from Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and Schleswig-Holstein who, in addition to very good exam results, distinguished themselves through exceptional social commitment or by overcoming personal challenges. The award, conceived as a recognition, is endowed with 1,500 euros and underscores the importance of future-oriented professional qualification in Northern Germany.

Decisive for the award are outstanding training results, remarkable commitment during the apprenticeship, and successfully mastering individual challenges. An independent selection jury evaluates the application documents according to these criteria and thus honors exemplary biographies that serve as role models for dual training. The award ceremony traditionally takes place within the framework of the Northern German training award "Trainee of the North" and provides an appropriate platform to publicly honor the dedication and determination of the awardees. Through this initiative, the foundation promotes not only professional excellence but also personal resilience and social responsibility.
