Description
The CHOIS Scholarship for Sustainability from the CHOIS Foundation is aimed at enrolled students nationwide who promote sustainable thinking and social engagement in their academic and personal environments. The focus is particularly on individuals from socially or economically disadvantaged backgrounds, whose equal opportunities are to be strengthened through this support. With the continuously awarded grant, the foundation supports visionaries and changemakers committed to a helpful, attentive society and the careful use of existing resources. The goal is to empower young people to contribute their creative potential for the collective good and to set long-term impulses for education, training, and social participation.
Eligible to apply are private individuals with valid enrollment who can convince through a meaningful motivation letter including planned use of funds, a current curriculum vitae, and proof of disadvantage. Awards are made on an ongoing basis: submissions can be made at any time. Selection is based on the individual contribution to the vision of a sustainable society, the extent of social engagement, and the family or social background. Through targeted support, scholarship recipients are to be enabled to implement their projects and initiatives in a planned manner and to set long-term impulses for education, sustainable development, and social innovation in Germany.
