Description
The Carl Zeiss Foundation supports ambitious students in STEM subjects at 19 public universities in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Thuringia with a Deutschlandstipendium. The foundation provides an annual amount of €1,800, which is supplemented by an additional €1,800 from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. In total, more than 150 funding places are awarded in this way to grant dedicated young researchers financial freedom. The selection is carried out by the respective universities within the framework of their established selection procedures.
The program aims to enable students to focus intensively on their studies and to promote talents in technical and scientific fields. All individuals enrolled in a STEM degree program at one of the participating universities are eligible for funding. The grant is awarded for a period of 12 months and serves exclusively as a study scholarship. Applications can be submitted in accordance with the deadlines of the respective university.
