Darmstadt Impulse

Every two years, the ENTEGA Foundation honors outstanding civic engagement in Germany with the "Darmstadt Impulse" award. Three prizes, each endowed with €20,000, recognize private individuals, non-profit organizations, and public institutions that are committed locally, regionally, or nationally to the common good. The program aims to spotlight exemplary actors and thereby provide impulses for social cohesion, democratic coexistence, and social participation. Nominations for awardees can be submitted until September 30, 2026. The outstanding commitment and its impact on the common good must be clearly justified.

A nomination letter with a compelling justification highlighting the exemplary nature and public impact of the engagement is required for a successful nomination. The jury particularly evaluates the degree of civic initiative, the achieved impact on the common good, and the exemplary character for other initiatives. Through this award program, the ENTEGA Foundation promotes the visibility of volunteer work and strengthens awareness of social responsibility. Interested parties can submit their proposals digitally to the office without direct contact details, thereby contributing to the sustainable strengthening of civil society.
