Promoting Life – Support for Social and Cultural Projects

The non-profit foundation "Promoting Life" offers ongoing nationwide grants for public and non-profit institutions engaged in the fields of child and youth welfare, education, music education, culture, monument preservation, vocational training, and infrastructure. The focus is on three key areas: first, support services for children in need, such as assistance for single parents, orphan aid, intercultural student exchanges, or class trips; second, music education through the acquisition and maintenance of instruments, sheet music, technical equipment, and the financial backing of music camps; third, the preservation of historic architectural heritage in urban and rural areas. Project applications can be submitted informally at any time via email. Eligible for funding are school associations, music schools, music clubs, cultural foundations, monument preservation initiatives, and comparable organizations; individuals and completed projects are not considered.

For the application, a description of the project’s intent, a detailed breakdown of planned expenses with cost estimates, information on additional contributing partners, as well as the designation of a contact person and bank details are required. The funding aims to create sustainable social and cultural impulses by supporting children in need, fostering musical talents, and preserving historic cultural assets. Institutions working towards these goals thereby not only strengthen community life locally but also contribute to securing and keeping cultural heritage and social participation alive in the long term.
