Description

The funding program of the elobau Foundation supports creative and participatory initiatives in Upper Swabia–Lake Constance–Allgäu that actively raise awareness for sustainable action. Projects are funded that set new impulses in the areas of environmental and nature conservation, energy efficiency, mobility, circular economy, consumption, nutrition, and biodiversity. The goal is to motivate people to engage sustainably and to convey knowledge in an experiential way. Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, public and private educational institutions, as well as – under certain conditions – private individuals with a regional project location.

Financial support is provided for projects with a grant of up to 2,500 euros; higher amounts are possible in justified individual cases. Decision criteria include the degree of innovation, originality, regional relevance, and the long-term impact of the project. Applications can be submitted online on an ongoing basis: a project outline (PDF) and a detailed description must be submitted. Approved measures receive the “Days4Future” seal as well as communication support; optionally, limited implementation consulting is provided. This directly strengthens committed initiatives in their capacity to act and contributes to sustainable development in the region. Interested project teams can submit an application at any time and become part of a vibrant network that makes environmental and climate protection tangible locally.
