Description

The Dietmar Freier Prize honors outstanding master’s theses from the degree programs Consulting in Social Work and Leadership–Education–Diversity at the Evangelical University of Berlin. The award is presented as part of the event ehb.forscht and offers master’s students the opportunity to present their research findings to a broad audience of students, faculty members, cooperation partners, and guests. An external jury reviews the submitted scientific posters and evaluates them based on scientific quality, level of innovation, and relevance of the results. In this way, scientific excellence is promoted and the visibility of student work is sustainably increased.

A total of 2,000 euros in prize money is available: 1,000 euros for first place and 500 euros each for second and third place. All master’s students enrolled in the relevant degree program at EHB in the winter semester are eligible to participate by submitting their poster as well as the title and abstract of their master’s thesis within the framework of ehb.forscht. The exact deadline will be announced by the Evangelical University of Berlin. The Dietmar Freier Prize not only recognizes exceptional scientific achievements but also provides impetus for innovative approaches in research and practice in social work.
