Digitalization and Work 4.0

Digitalization and Work 4.0 supports small and medium-sized enterprises in the state of Bremen in purposefully modernizing their workflows and unlocking digital potentials. Funding is provided for external consulting services on topics such as concept development for Industry 4.0, big data analyses, development of digital business models, digital process consulting, organizational development, change and project management, as well as cloud services and IT security concepts. The funding is granted as a subsidy amounting to 50% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of €5,000 per project. This financial contribution enables the creation of initial prototypes, testing of samples, or development of strategies that pave the way toward a future-proof corporate structure.

Eligible to apply are SMEs based in Bremen that commission consulting services from selected digitalization experts in the region. Combined projects involving multiple service providers are possible. Applications can be submitted at any time before the start of the proposed consulting; there is no legal entitlement to funding. Bremer Aufbau-Bank GmbH (BAB) is responsible for approval and supports the application process. Interested companies can use the consulting finder to select suitable experts and implement their digitalization projects promptly.
