Description

The program ERDF 21-27 AT – Promotion of the Use of Climate-Relevant Technologies and Services is aimed at municipalities in Burgenland and supports investment measures in public buildings and infrastructures. The goal is a noticeable reduction of air pollutants and climate-relevant gases, as well as a sustainable increase in energy efficiency and the expansion of renewable energy sources. Projects with a minimum volume of €200,000 that are completed within 18 months are supported with a funding rate of up to 50%. End energy savings of at least 30% must be demonstrated, as well as the installation or ownership of a photovoltaic system ≥ 20 kWp and participation in a renewable energy community. Applications are submitted electronically via the e-cohesion portal.

Eligible costs include, among others, planning expenses, vehicle acquisitions, investments in charging infrastructure and PV systems, operational and business equipment (including hardware and software), construction measures, as well as professional commissioning. Ineligible costs include expenses incurred before application submission, used goods, low-value assets without capitalization, internal personnel costs, public charges, financing and leasing costs, as well as invoices under €150. Project evaluation is based on the achieved CO₂ reduction and the increase in final energy efficiency. The maximum funding amount per project is €200,000. Interested municipal institutions in Burgenland can find further information in the official action guideline “Promotion of Energy and Environmental Measures – PLUS” and may submit applications continuously until the budget is exhausted.
