The Hans Rosenthal Foundation – Rapid Aid in Acute Emergency – registered association grants a one-time, purpose-specific subsidy nationwide in Germany and Austria (as well as in Switzerland) for private individuals and families who have fallen into existential hardship through no fault of their own. With a funding rate of 100%, the foundation directly covers the costs for necessary purchases or services with the service providers. The payment is not made to the applicants themselves but directly to the respective companies to ensure transparent and effective use of the funds. There is no legal entitlement to funding; the decision depends on the urgency of the situation and the completeness of the submitted documents.

Eligible for funding are all individuals and families residing in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland who can demonstrate that they have exhausted all statutory aid benefits and whose overall financing is secured. To apply, copies of original receipts, social reports from recognized organizations or authorities, as well as proof of secured overall financing are required. The subsidy must be used for the specified purpose and documented through receipts and invoices. Applications are accepted continuously without a deadline, allowing applicants to request support in acute emergency situations at any time. With this, the Hans Rosenthal Foundation sets a sign for rapid, targeted assistance in social hardship cases and relieves those affected from immediate financial constraints.
