Description
Basic funding for adult education institutions in Salzburg is aimed at public sponsors as well as non-profit organizations that implement programs in the areas of initial and continuing education. Ongoing grants support measures that raise the level of education, promote the social participation of the Salzburg population, and ensure a diverse portfolio of courses and seminars throughout the state. Continuous application submission without a deadline allows for the flexible introduction of innovative project ideas and the permanent further development of both proven learning formats and new learning concepts.
Programs aimed at increasing performance levels, strengthening social networks, and securing regional educational structures are particularly supported. To apply, a fully completed general funding application of the State of Salzburg must be submitted, supplemented by all attachments in accordance with the General Guidelines for the Granting of Funding. Upon positive approval, direct payments are made as grants, while the professional and financial use is verified through usage reports, achievement of objectives reviews, and, if necessary, on-site inspections. Since April 29, 2013, it has been possible to submit an application at any time and thus contribute directly to the sustainable strengthening of adult education in the federal state.
