Description
Purpose and Scope of Funding
In Rhineland-Palatinate, a one-time grant of €2,500 supports training companies that take on apprentices from insolvent companies and thereby continue their vocational training without interruption. The funding is aimed at companies in the commercial sector as well as members of liberal professions in the field of education and training. The goal is to rescue interrupted apprenticeship contracts due to insolvency, business closure, or loss of training authorization and to enable the successful completion of vocational training. Applications must be submitted within three months after the resumption of training. The responsible bodies are the Chamber of Crafts or the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, which forward the application to the Investment and Structural Bank of Rhineland-Palatinate.
Requirements and Application
A prerequisite is a written vocational training contract according to the Vocational Training Act (BBiG) or the Crafts Code (HwO), which is registered in the directory of the responsible chamber. Both the insolvent company and the receiving training company must be based in Rhineland-Palatinate. Parallel funding through comparable programs is excluded. Eligible expenses include all costs for the training and integration of the apprentices. The application must include:
