The beneVolens Foundation of Kommende Dortmund supports practical project days for young people at twelve project schools in Dortmund and the surrounding area with its program Entry into the Working World – On the Way to Vocational Training. In close cooperation with Dortmund Economic Development, core competencies such as communication, teamwork, and conversation skills are imparted. Through interactive exercises and role plays, participants develop strategy-oriented application methods and receive valuable impulses for the transition from school to professional life. This form of recognition and appreciation sustainably strengthens self-confidence and problem-solving skills.
The funding is granted as a subsidy and is aimed at educational institutions recognized as project schools that can present a cooperation agreement with Dortmund Economic Development. Requests can be submitted at any time, as the offer is continuously available. In particular, students preparing for internships and vocational training benefit from the practical support provided by experienced speakers from the foundation. The close integration of theory and experiential learning facilitates the transfer of content to their own life path.
