Individual Enterprise Investment Support in the State Program Economy 2021-2027

The individual company investment support within the state program Economy 2021-2027 assists companies and start-ups in Schleswig-Holstein in the modern development of their production and operational infrastructure. Funding is provided for investment and development projects that make a tangible contribution to strengthening the regional economic structure. Small and medium-sized enterprises can continuously submit applications for grants until December 31, 2027, benefiting from financial relief in the acquisition of machinery and equipment, construction measures, as well as the adaptation of production facilities. The goal is to sustainably create or secure jobs and increase local competitiveness.

A prerequisite for funding is proof of an investment project with an economic feasibility calculation, residence or business premises in Schleswig-Holstein, and a defined equity share according to the program guidelines. Retroactive costs as well as ongoing personnel and operating expenses are not eligible for support. Applying companies must submit a project description, a detailed financing plan, a cost and investment overview, a business plan, and proof of available equity with the application. Evaluation is based on the contribution to improving the regional economic structure, the economic efficiency and sustainability of the project, as well as the jobs created or secured. The Ministry of Economy, Transport, Labor, Technology and Tourism of the State of Schleswig-Holstein is responsible for implementation and uses this funding to specifically strengthen the innovation capacity and competitiveness of local companies.
