The Lebenshilfe Foundation Region Donau-Iller has been supporting people with disabilities in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria in an uncomplicated and direct manner for many years. Private individuals residing in the Donau-Iller region or in the district of Günzburg can apply at any time to cover individual needs. The aim of the funding is to strengthen social participation and promote inclusion. The jury primarily assesses the severity of the need as well as the impact of the measure on inclusion and participation.
Funding is provided for one-time purchases of assistive devices as well as disability-appropriate modifications or conversions in the living environment. The offer is complemented by grants for leisure and educational activities, travel, therapies (e.g., animal-assisted therapy), and community participation initiatives.
