Individual Funding (Individual Assistance) – Lebenshilfe Foundation Weimar/Apolda

The individual funding provided by the Lebenshilfe Weimar/Apolda Foundation supports people with disabilities or impairments in Thuringia in strengthening their participation in social life and enabling a self-determined way of living. As an open-ended grant program, it is aimed both at individuals and at non-profit organizations, public institutions, counseling centers, and services that implement individual assistance or projects for those affected. A prerequisite for the grant is proof of a disability or impairment as well as the submission of a properly completed application – either directly or through a supporting institution. The funding covers various needs, such as mobility, therapy, assistive technologies, or cultural participation.

Four fillable forms are available for the application: Individual Assistance Application for Individuals, Individual Assistance Application for Counseling Centers, Institutions, and Services, Project Application for Institutions and Facilities, as well as an Individual Assistance Application in Plain Language. Since the individual funding is continuously open, applications can be submitted at any time. After approval, accounting is carried out using the provided proof of use forms for individual or project funding. The transparent and straightforward procedural structure ensures prompt support where it is most urgently needed.
