Description

The Stockhausen Foundation for Education for Disadvantaged Children and Adolescents supports individual initiatives throughout Germany that open up new perspectives for young people facing social and economic challenges. Funding is provided to non-profit organizations and public institutions that handle the application process and administration. With continuous opportunities to apply without fixed deadlines, the program is aimed at children and adolescents who are to be supported through individual educational measures. The goal is to compensate for disadvantages and strengthen equal opportunities through financial contributions.

Eligible expenses include, for example, tutoring, language courses, and exam preparation as well as subsidies for class and educational trips, sports and holiday camps, or school-organized exchange programs. Additionally, contributions to course fees in the fields of art, music, theater, or sports are covered, and the acquisition of learning and sports materials, loan instruments, as well as sports and play equipment is supported. A prerequisite for funding is that a non-profit institution or a public authority ensures professional supervision and financial administration. In this way, individual educational initiatives can be purposefully supported and sustainable impulses for personal development can be set.
