Description
Within the framework of the Tyrolean Mobility Program Tirol, targeted individual grants are provided for sustainable mobility and transport projects in municipalities, municipal associations, and schools in Tyrol. The subsidies primarily cover research, survey, and preliminary planning projects and extend to concept developments as well as feasibility studies that enable later implementation by system partners. Eligible to apply are public institutions and educational establishments seeking to implement innovative approaches to strengthen environmentally friendly transport or optimize the traffic system. The funding has been available indefinitely since January 1, 2023, and can be applied for continuously.
Funding is granted for individual projects that cannot be processed through the regular mobility program and that offer a significant added value for climate protection, energy efficiency, and urban infrastructure. Own contributions within a reasonable scope as well as compliance with thriftiness, economic efficiency, and appropriateness are required. A written funding agreement forms the contractual basis. Covered are research costs, survey costs, preliminary planning costs, as well as expenses for concept development and feasibility studies. To apply, a written application, a detailed project description, proof of overall financing including a cost breakdown, as well as original invoices and payment receipts must be submitted. The funding is aimed equally at research partners and system partners and provides a continuous opportunity to advance forward-looking projects in the field of sustainable mobility and transport.
