Funding is provided for investment, operational, as well as planning and consulting costs, in alignment with the CAP Strategic Plan 2023-2027. The goal is a noticeable reduction in emissions through projects such as the expansion of cycling and pedestrian paths, mobility management for companies and municipalities, operation of community buses, or the use of alternative propulsion technologies. With a total funding commitment of €11.9 million and a funding rate between 30% and 50%, this funding initiative makes a significant contribution to the mobility transition and to achieving climate neutrality in Vienna by 2040.

Eligible to apply are companies of all sizes, public and non-profit institutions, as well as research and educational institutions in Vienna. Prerequisites include submission prior to the start of measures, compliance with the "klimaaktiv mobil" funding guidelines, and the provision of mobility management concepts and comparative offers. Eligible expenses include investment costs for infrastructure and vehicles, operating costs, and planning or consulting costs. Land, administrative, and financing costs are not covered. Evaluation is based on the degree of innovation, sustainability aspects, and the extent of the expected emission reduction.
