Description
ELER 2023–2027 Nature Conservation – Salzburg supports agricultural enterprises, municipalities, as well as non-profit organizations and public institutions in the state of Salzburg with investments aimed at the preservation, restoration, and improvement of the natural heritage. The focus is on cooperation in nature conservation, the implementation of the measures defined in the CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027, and targeted knowledge transfer through awareness-raising, further training, consulting, and studies. Direct grants are primarily provided for three program components: 73-15 Investments for the preservation, restoration, and improvement of the natural heritage, 77-02 Cooperation in nature conservation, and 78-03 Knowledge transfer. The funding period extends from 01.01.2023 to 31.12.2027 and is part of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
The program places special emphasis on environmental/nature conservation, agriculture & rural development, as well as energy efficiency & climate protection. A prerequisite for funding is registration with Agrarmarkt Austria (AMA) and compliance with the specific requirements of the Salzburg regional guidelines as well as the national CAP Strategic Plan. Applications can be submitted throughout the entire funding period. By providing grants, the program aims to strengthen biodiversity and promote sustainable development of rural areas.
