Description

The Energy Network for Berlin & Africa (ENBA) is an innovative, 12-month funding program that supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as start-ups in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency. Participants based in Berlin or in Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, or Tunisia benefit from a coordinated offering of practical workshops, training sessions, and networking events. Targeted delegation trips open up local markets and establish valuable contacts with political decision-makers as well as potential business partners on site. The funding is provided in the form of a grant and covers, among other things, costs for professional training and market analyses.

The focus is on building strategic partnerships between pioneering Berlin companies and stakeholders from the African energy markets. Experts convey practical know-how on market entry strategies and regulatory frameworks, while networking events strengthen exchange and visibility of innovative solutions. The program aims to sustainably scale energy solutions in the sectors of solar energy, energy storage, and energy efficiency, thereby linking climate protection with economic development. Applications can be submitted at any time and offer a flexible opportunity to access new markets and establish long-term cooperation.
