Description
The Ernst Pelz Foundation annually awards a prize in cooperation with C.A.R.M.E.N. e.V. for outstanding achievements in the field of domestic renewable raw materials. With a prize money of €10,000, the foundation honors individuals or groups who have demonstrated excellence through innovative research, pioneering developments, or successful market introductions of ecologically usable biomaterials. The award particularly recognizes contributions to the material and energetic utilization of renewable resources as well as technical originality with economically viable potential. During a formal reception, the Bavarian State Minister for Economic Affairs, Energy and Technology presents the honor to the public and professional audience.
