Acquisition and Mediation of Drawings (Audan Art Foundation)

The Audan Art Foundation supports non-profit graphic collections nationwide with a continuously open funding program that focuses on the acquisition and mediation of drawings. The foundation's goal is to enrich the holdings of visual arts-oriented institutions in Germany and to make works by research-oriented experimental artists accessible to the public. This measure not only promotes artistic potential but also strengthens intercultural exchange within Europe by presenting newly acquired drawings in exhibitions, workshops, and digital formats.

Funding is exclusively available to non-profit organizations that operate a graphic collection in Germany and wish to acquire drawings. Eligible institutions may apply for a grant at any time without a fixed deadline, which may only be used for the acquisition costs of the works. The foundation places great importance on a transparent selection process and sustainable mediation of the objects to enhance the cultural value of the collections in the long term. Interested institutions receive a tax-effective donation receipt upon positive approval and benefit from the expertise of the Audan Art Foundation in the field of visual arts.
