Description
In rural Upper Austria, the ESF+ opens up new opportunities within the framework of the Priority 1 Call Empowerment to digitally and professionally empower women with caregiving responsibilities and career returnees. With a clear focus on work-life balance and local equality concepts, the call supports projects that anchor innovative digitalization measures, build networks with LEADER regional groups, and establish tailored educational and advisory services. Participants benefit from qualification modules, coaching sessions, and practice-oriented workshops that impart basic digital skills, test mobility-enhancing technological solutions, and simultaneously open up livelihood-secure perspectives.
Grants are awarded as non-repayable funding in the form of personnel expenses, material costs, travel expenses, consulting costs, and digitalization investments. A prerequisite is compliance with the ESF+/JTF framework conditions, a convincing digitalization concept for rural areas, and a clear impact on equal labor market participation. Projects are selected through transparent calls based on clear evaluation criteria – with a focus on promoting women, innovation potential, networking with LEADER groups, and labor market effects. From 01.02.2024, non-profit organizations and public institutions can submit their ideas and thus advance digital empowerment in rural Upper Austria. This funding call sets impulses for an inclusive, future-oriented working environment and strengthens equal participation locally.
