Description

The ESF+ program "Employment for Men and Women to Build Work Capacity" in the Salzburg region supports innovative projects aimed at the gradual restoration of work capacity among Salzburg residents distant from the labor market in the central area and Lungau. Sponsors from companies, non-profit organizations, public institutions, or educational establishments receive financial grants for low-threshold employment offers. These initiatives focus on socio-pedagogical support, coaching, psycho-social care, case management, and social work to sustainably strengthen reliability, perseverance, and individual solution strategies. The goal is to enable participants to gain long-term access to qualifications or to prepare for direct placement in the primary labor market. The program has been running since 01.03.2023 and is continuously announced until the funding volume is fully utilized.

Eligible for funding are project sponsors who, within the framework of a time-limited call for proposals, submit an application including a concept with a financial plan, annual financial statement, company or association register excerpt, clearance certificates from the tax office and social insurance, proof of third-party funding, statutes or articles of association, reference projects, as well as an overview of personnel and qualifications. The direct granting of the subsidy takes place upon submission of detailed evidence of incurred costs and a factual and indicator report. This funding offer makes a decisive contribution to increasing the employability of disadvantaged groups and thus sustainably strengthening social cohesion in the state of Salzburg.
