Description

The ESF+ (21–27): Employment for Men and Women to Build Work Capacity supports non-profit organizations, companies, and educational institutions in the federal state of Salzburg with non-repayable grants. Low-threshold employment projects in the central Salzburg area and Lungau are funded, which accompany Salzburg residents distant from the labor market and of working age on their path to sustainable employability through socio-pedagogical support. Participants benefit from coaching, psychosocial care, case management, and accompanying social work. The goal is a gradual development of reliability, perseverance, and work performance to enable subsequent advanced qualification or direct placement into the primary labor market.

Project sponsors can submit applications continuously until 31.12.2027; project start is feasible from 01.01.2021. Approval requires the submission of evidence of incurred costs as well as a factual and an indicator report. The use of funding creates an inclusion chain that systematically guides labor market-distant individuals toward qualification and employment. The combination of practical activity and individual support strengthens participation opportunities in the long term and contributes to social cohesion in Salzburg.
