Description
The ESF funding guideline Vocational Education – Mobility Advisory Centers supports the establishment and further development of contact points in the state of Hesse that advise young trainees, skilled workers, and training companies on cross-border professional experiences. The goal is to strengthen job-related international experiences in initial and further training to promote intercultural competencies and increase the competitiveness of especially small and medium-sized enterprises. A grant of up to 70% of eligible expenses is provided. Implementation takes place within the framework of regular project calls, with applications required to be submitted electronically.
Eligible for funding are legal entities under public law (excluding federal states and the federal government) as well as legal entities under private law active in the field of vocational education – such as public institutions, educational providers, interest groups, or other associations. A prerequisite is qualified personnel with experience in training, counseling, excellent foreign language skills, and intercultural competence. If no certification is available at the start, participation in a recognized certification procedure within the first twelve project months is mandatory.
