Description

The ESF – Life- and Work-Related Continuing Education supports non-profit associations and clubs in North Rhine-Westphalia in planning and implementing targeted educational offerings. Eligible for funding are the state organizations Arbeit und Leben – State Working Group for Political and Social Education NRW e.V., the State Association for Catholic Adult and Family Education NRW e.V., as well as the State Association of Adult Education Centers NRW e.V. Expenses for the organization, professional support, and consulting of life- and work-related continuing education measures are funded. Subsidy financing is provided continuously during the funding period 2021–2027 through the Arnsberg District Government as the responsible granting authority.

The program focuses on reading, writing, arithmetic, and key competencies, the subsequent acquisition of school qualifications in connection with career orientation, as well as the qualification of employees in daycare centers for children, schools, and continuing education institutions. The goal is to strengthen individual employability and facilitate transitions into working life. In particular, adults with limited educational backgrounds and low-qualified individuals benefit from tailored offerings for basic education and career orientation. Applications are submitted easily via the Arnsberg District Government; a detailed funding guideline specifies the type, scope, and funding amounts. With this program, the state authority contributes to promoting sustainable educational structures and increasing equal opportunities in the labor and education market.
