Description

The program "ESF – Life- and Work-Related Continuing Education" supports recognized non-profit continuing education providers in North Rhine-Westphalia with an annual grant of up to €81,720. Funding is provided for organizational costs as well as professional support and counseling for measures that strengthen individuals in acquiring reading, writing, arithmetic, and key competencies or contribute to the subsequent attainment of the secondary school leaving certificate or the qualification for entrance to upper secondary education. Furthermore, qualifications aimed at improving individual employability during the transition into working life are supported, as well as pedagogical developments in daycare centers for children and schools. The goal is the sustainable increase of participation opportunities in the labor market as well as the active inclusion of disadvantaged target groups.

Eligible to apply are the State Working Group "Work and Life," the State Association for Catholic Adult and Family Education, and the State Association of Adult Education Centers in NRW. A prerequisite for approval is membership in one of these three associations as well as recognition as a continuing education provider according to the Continuing Education Act NRW. Accounting is based on standardized unit costs for organizational and counseling activities. Project descriptions and financing plans must be submitted to the Arnsberg District Government; applications can be submitted at any time. Interested providers can obtain detailed information and application documents from the responsible District Government.
