Description

The EU-India International Collaboration (HORIZON-JU-SNS-2026-STREAM-CSA-03) promotes coordinated cooperation between European and Indian stakeholders in the field of advanced connectivity research. With a duration of 24 months and a funding amount of €1 million, companies, educational institutions, and public bodies from EU Member States and associated countries are invited to establish bilateral 6G cooperation structures. The action aims at an in-depth analysis of national 6G strategies, mapping of supply chains, and identification of synergies in industrial value networks. Selected consortia will prepare joint research roadmaps, develop standardization approaches, and organize intensified exchange formats such as workshops, expert visits, and pilot projects.

Participating organizations must present a Gender Equality Plan and must not involve high-risk suppliers as defined by EU communication security. Personnel, travel, and material costs as well as workshops and publications are funded at 100%. Submissions are to be made by April 29, 2026, via the Funding & Tenders Portal. Evaluation criteria include innovation content, relevance to 6G objectives, contribution to strengthening European industry, and quality of the dissemination strategy. The closely coordinated EU-India action supports the SNS JU and 6G-IA in shaping political measures to consolidate Europe’s position in the international standardization process and to advance industrial partnerships for a sustainably open 6G landscape.
