Description
The start-up funding provided by the Economic Development Agency of the City of Mayen is aimed at founders and young companies from the commercial sector, including crafts, in Rhineland-Palatinate. This continuously available grant program supports the coverage of consulting costs during the initial phase of self-employment. Funding is provided for up to 30 consulting days with a subsidy rate of 50% on a maximum daily rate of €1,100, thereby benefiting consulting services totaling up to €33,000 (gross). Applications can be submitted year-round, allowing interested entrepreneurs to obtain information flexibly and have their start-up projects supported promptly. Eligible for funding are start-ups and companies based in Germany with fewer than 100 employees and annual turnover or balance sheet total not exceeding €20 million, as well as meeting the requirements of the De-minimis Regulation.
The overarching goal is to strengthen the Mayen business location through qualified consulting and needs-based business financing. Funding is provided primarily for consulting services related to business concepts, market analyses, financing strategies, and legal issues.
