Export Guarantees for Exporters

The export guarantees of the Oesterreichische Kontrollbank (OeKB) offer Austrian companies tailored protection and financing for their export transactions. This guarantee form covers economic and political risks abroad, which are often not covered by the private credit insurance market, under the protection of the OeKB. In cooperation with an Austrian house bank, the OeKB not only enables the coverage of goods and service deliveries but also supports refinancing on attractive terms. Due to the excellent creditworthiness of the OeKB, favorable capital market conditions are passed directly on to domestic companies, allowing export transactions to be efficiently secured and financed.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular benefit from this 30% export guarantee, as they receive a cost-effective financing solution with risk coverage in a single step. The prerequisite is active export activity and cooperation with an Austrian house bank, through which applications can be submitted continuously. The goal is to cushion payment defaults and political risks and to enable exporters to secure liquidity quickly.
