Description

The skilled worker/apprenticeship training programs (FLA) support temporary agency workers nationwide in obtaining an extraordinary apprenticeship qualification. Within the scope of this funding, part-time courses preparing for the final apprenticeship examination are supported with an annual quota of 200 places in sectors such as metal and electrical engineering, operational logistics, or office management. Eligible applicants are temporary agency workers without a completed apprenticeship or with an interrupted apprenticeship who are in an uninterrupted employment or service relationship. The measure extends over a maximum of 12 months and runs from 01.01.2023 to 31.12.2026. A 100% funding rate covers course and examination costs, teaching materials, various fees, as well as wage and salary costs.

A prerequisite for funding is the registration of the temporary employment agency (AKÜ) in the SWF online portal as well as the conclusion of an SWF framework agreement by the educational institution. Training during the first month of employment or marginally employed persons within the first three months are excluded. The SWF application must be submitted before the start of the skilled worker/apprenticeship training; all documentation must be settled within six months after completion. For approval, among other documents, an extract from the commercial register, trade license, academy offer, signed funding application, data protection consent, insurance data extract, service contract, assignment notification, survey form, invoices, participation certificates, and examination certificate must be submitted. Optionally, practical evidence, justifications for e-learning or exceeding funding limits, as well as wage/salary statements for monthly subsidies may be enclosed.
