Increase in case numbers

The Saxon State Media Authority (SLM) provides a continuous funding instrument with the case number increase to support private radio broadcasters licensed in Saxony in the semi-annual ma Audio case number survey. Since 2013, the program has been equipped with an annual funding amount of up to €80,000, covering around 30% of the total costs. The goal is to make the reach data for Saxony more reliable through a higher volume of data, thereby enabling especially small and locally oriented radio programs to establish a stable economic basis and improved program quality. Applications can be submitted at any time, with a maximum project duration of 12 months.

Only expenses directly related to the costs of the semi-annual survey waves of ma Audio conducted by the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Media Analyse e.V. are eligible for funding. Participating companies must prove their status as licensed private radio broadcasters based in Saxony and actively participate in ma Audio. The funding significantly expands the data basis for advertising customer acquisition and program marketing, allowing smaller providers to strengthen their market position. Overall, this offer contributes to strengthening and sustainably further developing the economic consolidation and diversity of the Saxon radio landscape in the digital age.
