The television film/series funding of the Film and Media Foundation NRW is aimed at producers, production companies, and creative minds based or with a permanent establishment in North Rhine-Westphalia. Projects are supported in the form of a non-repayable grant at every stage of their development: from the initial idea through the screenplay and project development to production preparation and completion. Innovative serial formats designed to be platform-independent can also be funded. The foundation places particular emphasis on projects with a regional connection to television films and series as well as on sustainably strengthening the media location NRW.
