Description
The Project Funding for Film, Video, and Media Art is aimed at natural and legal persons, companies, and non-profit organizations throughout Austria. Funding is provided for short films, art films, experimental films, avant-garde films, and documentary film projects that cannot be realized through the Carinthia Filmcommission, as well as innovative media projects utilizing new digital image production technologies. The measure also supports events to strengthen film education and competence, as well as the production of relevant publications. The continuous online submission option via the KU2 form creates a flexible framework that sustainably promotes independent, artistic, and media-educational engagement in Carinthia.
The grant is intended to realize original cinematic concepts and further develop media-educational offerings. A prerequisite for funding is that the project has not already been supported by the Carinthia Filmcommission. The funding application requires the submission of the completed application form, a proof of use with balanced original receipts, and a written report on the use of funds. For funding volumes of €30,000 or more, a detailed statement of income and expenses must be included. Department 14 – Arts and Culture of the State of Carinthia supports applicants as a central service point and ensures transparent processing.
