Description
The Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB) supports Berlin-based startups as well as established companies of all sizes and sectors with the Funding Program for Growth and Investments. Whether solo self-employed, micro-enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), or large companies – all with headquarters or operations in Berlin are eligible for grants. The program aims to enable sustainable business growth and strengthen competitiveness. This includes, among other things, investments in tangible and intangible assets, digitalization, research & development, as well as the increase of working capital and personnel. Business takeovers as well as coaching and knowledge transfer are also supported.
Funding can be applied for continuously and at any time via the IBB customer portal. In addition to pure grants, complementary loan programs are available, tailored individually to different business phases. Investment projects such as the acquisition of new software, expansion of storage capacities, or internationalization of business activities are supported.
