Description
The funding program of Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB) is aimed at private individuals, companies, cooperatives, and public institutions with residence or property ownership in Berlin. The focus is on energy-efficient building renovations, barrier-reducing construction measures, age-appropriate conversions, as well as rent subsidies and the acquisition of cooperative shares. As a grant program, IBB supports landlords, investors, owner-occupiers, and homeowners' associations in increasing living comfort, improving energy efficiency, and reducing energy costs in the long term. By combining various funding instruments, modernization and renovation projects can be optimally implemented and fully financed – including the integration of renewable energies and climate-friendly heating technologies.
