Description
For over 25 years, the Lebenshilfe Region Donau-Iller Foundation has been effectively supporting inclusion-promoting initiatives in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. Through the funding application for institutions and associations, project-related grants are provided for measures and individual assistance that enable participation and active involvement of people with disabilities in the Donau-Iller region as well as in the Günzburg district. Applicant organizations may submit their funding applications at any time and receive straightforward financial support, for example, for barrier-free conversions and expansions, leisure or educational offerings, as well as therapeutic measures. The foundation operates as a non-profit institution, supported by a voluntary board and advisory council, and finances its work through endowments, inheritances, and donations.
Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, and public institutions based in the Donau-Iller region or the Günzburg district. A prerequisite is an inclusion-related project or measure benefiting people with disabilities. The funding application must include the completed application form, a meaningful project description, a detailed financing plan, and, upon completion of the measure, proof of use with corresponding copies of invoices. Grants are awarded as one-time contributions and serve to sustainably secure quality of life. The Lebenshilfe Region Donau-Iller Foundation invites non-profit sponsors to implement inclusive initiatives and thereby further strengthen community togetherness in the region.
