Funding Area Dementia

The funding area "Dementia" of the Dieter von Holtzbrinck Stiftung GmbH has supported initiatives and institutions in Baden-Württemberg since its inception that are dedicated to improving the quality of life for people affected by dementia and their relatives. The focus is on projects such as the Stuttgart Dementia Network, which promotes professional exchange and further develops innovative support services. Funding is also provided for the creation of brochures, guides, and digital information formats: a guide offers comprehensive information on long-term care insurance, legal issues, and technical aids, while webinars provide practical training for professionals, volunteers, and relatives. These materials offer valuable foundations for counseling centers, day care facilities, and outpatient services to best support those affected.

The continuous application process is aimed at non-profit organizations as well as public institutions that have their headquarters or project location in Germany and operate in the field of dementia or elderly care. The goal is to promote projects that develop new information and support services, strengthen care structures, and deepen the interaction between those affected and professionals. Through financial grant funding, space is created for creative approaches that facilitate everyday life with dementia and contribute to an inclusive coexistence in the long term. Interested institutions can submit their applications at any time and thus actively contribute to relieving relatives and improving the networking of all parties involved.
