Funding Area Social Affairs

The state of Baden-Württemberg provides regular grants in the social sector, which are available to non-profit organizations and public institutions throughout Baden-Württemberg. The target groups are primarily providers of independent welfare services, social educational institutions, and providers of the Voluntary Social Year (FSJ). Also addressed are outpatient care and support services, family relief services, hospice work, early intervention facilities, as well as initiatives that relieve caregiving relatives and volunteers. The funding opportunities cover a wide spectrum – from training in social professions to outpatient assistance and consumer insolvency proceedings – in order to sustainably strengthen the diversity of social services in the state. Applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis, with the respective deadlines of the subprograms to be observed.

With the grant program, the state specifically supports measures that promote social cohesion and advance innovative concepts in the social sector. Both educational projects and direct relief services for caregiving relatives and volunteer helpers are funded.
