Funding Fund of the Education Foundation

The Bildung Foundation supports non-profit daycare and school support associations nationwide through its project fund, as well as, in exceptional cases, cooperating associations. Funding ranging from 500 to 5,000 euros is available in various thematic funds, including education for sustainable development, democratic participation, cultural and media education offerings, as well as social issues and engagement for social cohesion. The goal is to strengthen voluntary commitment locally and to make educational venues lively, diverse, fair, and effective in the long term. Key evaluation criteria include diversity and participation of young people, the sustainable integration of projects into everyday daycare and school life, and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Applications can be submitted at any time without a fixed deadline. Requirements for funding include the non-profit status of the association, recognition as a daycare or school support association, and the concrete implementation of the project within an institution. Pure material purchases, costly new construction or renovation projects without involvement, accommodation costs, fees, as well as duplicate or multiple funding are not eligible. Along with a current tax exemption certificate, a concise project description and a clearly structured budget and financing plan must be submitted. The decision on funding allocation is made with the involvement of representatives from the student council, youpaN, and the board of the Bildung Foundation.
