Funding Program "Crowdfunding Campaign"

The funding program "Crowdfunding Campaign" by Kreativ München is aimed at economically active freelancers and micro-enterprises in the cultural and creative industries based in the city of Munich. It supports project initiators in preparing crowdfunding campaigns by subsidizing 60% of the expenses for professional creative services – up to a maximum of €2,000. Eligible services include photos, videos, texts, proofreading, translations as well as graphic services (e.g., logos, infographics), storytelling and communication, and PR and social media support. Applications can be submitted continuously from January 20, 2026, as long as budgetary funds are available. A prerequisite is the commissioning of creative service providers with a business location in Munich and the submission of a complete application including funding guidelines, cost estimates, and a de minimis declaration.

With this grant, Kreativ München aims to strengthen the local cultural and creative industries and provide creative ideas with a professional foundation. By financially relieving the costs for acquiring image and text materials, graphic concepts, and communication strategies, initiatives and start-ups are given the opportunity to design their presence effectively from the outset. Interested project initiators and companies from Bavaria can look forward to a straightforward funding process that ensures the swift implementation of their crowdfunding initiatives while also promoting networking within the Munich creative scene.
