Description
The Retail Funding Program of the City of Bretten supports small and medium-sized enterprises as well as start-ups in the establishment, reopening, and securing of retail and gastronomy businesses in the city center and its districts. As a central component of vacancy management, the program provides financial support to prevent and eliminate vacancies and significantly contributes to enhancing the attractiveness of the city center. Funding is granted to businesses that enter into a lease agreement for at least three years and establish themselves within the central supply area of the city center or in one of Bretten’s districts. The grant is provided over a period of up to 36 months and is based on the sales area: from €1,500 annually for areas under 50 m² up to €4,000 annually for areas of 200 m² or more.
The program is open until 31.12.2027 and offers an incentive to secure basic supply in the districts as well as to introduce new impulses for vibrant shopping streets. Eligible applicants include both existing retail businesses and new gastronomic start-ups. To apply, the corresponding application form for the city center or districts, the lease agreement, the Retail Funding Program Guidelines, and the Information Sheet on the Retail Funding Program must be submitted. Interested businesses can submit their application to the Economic Development Office of the City of Bretten and benefit from funding that contributes to the stabilization and further development of regional local supply.
