Description
The funding program of the Lutherstadt Eisleben has supported the urban development enhancement of the historic old town in the state of Saxony-Anhalt since the update of the preservation area. Private owners of listed or preservation-worthy buildings as well as public and non-profit institutions can apply for grants for restoration and monument conservation measures at any time. The goal is the sustainable preservation of the listed building stock and the improvement of regional quality of life through funding anchored in the municipal renovation statute. Location within the designated preservation area and compliance with the design statute are central prerequisites for funding.
Eligible for funding are, among other things, monument conservation measures, façade and repair work in accordance with the statute, as well as planning and consulting costs. Interior fittings without urban development relevance or construction measures outside the preservation area are not supported. Allocation is based on the urban development significance and monument protection relevance of the planned projects. For the application, a site plan, building description, cost and financing plan, as well as the completed application form are required. Contact: Urban Planning/Renovation Department of Lutherstadt Eisleben. The continuously open deadlines allow flexible planning periods and underscore the city’s commitment to preserving the historic cityscape.
